This notice explains the limited security record created when a browser opens the public iams.co.in landing page.
What is recorded
IAMS records one visit per browser-tab session: the date and time, the page path without its query string, the public IP address supplied by trusted network infrastructure, approximate city/region/country inferred from that network, browser/device/operating-system categories derived from the request User-Agent, referrer host when supplied, and a human/crawler/suspicious-client classification. The raw User-Agent is not retained in this register.
Why it is recorded
The record is used for website security, abuse detection, incident investigation and basic service reliability. It is not an advertising profile and is not used for cross-site tracking.
What is not collected
The public visitor register does not request GPS location, device hardware identifiers, MAC addresses, contact lists or browser fingerprint measurements. A network address and approximate location do not identify an anonymous person by themselves and can reflect a VPN, privacy relay, mobile carrier or ISP exit point.
Protection and retention
The register is service-only. Super Admin screens mask network addresses by default. Revealing a full address requires an authorised Super Admin, multi-factor verification, a recorded investigation reason and a successful audit entry. Records expire after one year and are removed by the capture service after expiry.
